Term Limits

Michigan voters placed term limits on our state lawmakers in 1992. But now former politicians are trying to wriggle out of them.

Several lawmakers forced out by term limits have filed a lawsuit to remove the term limits law Michigan voters placed in our constitution. If that happens, the public will be subjected to more entrenched career politicians focused on reelection efforts instead of doing their jobs.

We’re collecting petition signatures to demand the lawsuit be dropped and ensure residents’ voices are heard loud and clear.
