Gov. Gretchen Whitmer plans to charge $3.5 billion to Michigan’s credit card.

That’s on top of already existing debt. And who pays? You – for the next 25 years.

Each taxpayer in Michigan already shoulders $17,000 in state debt that they’ll ultimately need to pay off through higher taxes. Now, on top of that, taxpayers will be paying off Whitmer debt until 2045.
