End Whitmer’s boating ban

Boating is a cornerstone of Michigan culture, not to mention a psychological refuge amidst the current crisis.

But families who untie a skiff from their dock could be jailed and fined $1,000 for violating Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s executive order, which bans all motorized boating and jet-skiing until May 1.

Michigan’s outdoor recreation leadership says that goes too far.
