Despite live streaming school board meetings in the 2020-21 school year, the East Grand Rapids school board no longer live streams meeting and does not record meetings to make them available online so they can be watched later. AG Dana Nessel released an opinion saying school boards and local governments should do everything they can to live stream meetings per the American with Disabilities Act.
